Dr. Paulo Roberto Leal is currently the Chairman of the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery – RJ. A graduate of UFRJ School of Medicine, Dr. Paulo Roberto Leal completed his internship and residency in general and plastic surgeries. His international experience includes fellowships in the Depar tment of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at NYU and at the University of California in San Francisco. His Microsurgical Training has been conducted at MD Anderson in Houston, Texas. Having been appointed Associate Professor of Unirio, Dr. Paulo Roberto Leal is today the Coordinator of the Breast Reconstruction Center of UERJ after having been the head of Serviço de Cirurgia Plástica do Instituto Nacional do Câncer - INCA (National Cancer Institute - Plastic Surgery Service) for 15 years.
